How do I create or recover my account?
Download the HwaHwa app and tap Sign Up. Enter your mobile phone number and we'll send a one-time password (OTP) by SMS to verify and create your account. To regain access, enter the same phone number and request a new OTP—no passwords or emails required. If you lose access to that number, contact support for secure account re-linking after ID verification.
What payment methods are supported?
We currently support Cash On Delivery. Please have valid ID ready when receiving alcohol orders; the courier will verify age before accepting payment.
How do I track my delivery?
Open the Delivery app and view the active order card. You'll see real-time courier location, ETA updates, and status badges. If location stops updating for over 10 minutes, use in-app chat or contact support.
Why was my order cancelled?
Orders may be cancelled for out-of-stock items, failed age verification, or unsafe delivery conditions. You'll receive notifications with next steps and can place a new order once resolved.
What is your age verification process?
On first alcohol delivery, our app can automatically scan Zimbabwe national IDs for instant age verification. Other photo IDs (passport, driver's license) are manually verified. We only store hashed verification tokens, never full images.
How do I report safety concerns?
Email network@hwahwa.co.zw with subject "Safety" or use the in-app Safety Report form (Profile > Safety). For emergencies, contact local emergency services first.
